DefinIT - A relaunch of sorts

Well… it’s been a while.

I looked back and realised the last time I posted here was July 2022—almost three years ago! It’s hard to believe how quickly that time has flown. Consider this post a signal of intent: I’m planning to start publishing content here once again.

So, why did I stop?

It’s a fair question. The truth is, I didn’t stop creating content—I just stopped publishing it here.

During my time in technical marketing, I was still writing extensively: creating technical content for employers, developing resources for customers, and contributing to wider enablement efforts. The output never stopped—it just shifted to different platforms and audiences.

Then came product management. It’s a very different kind of content creation. Much of my focus was on early-stage or pre-release software, which naturally isn’t ready for public sharing. The work I did centred around internal demos, product roadmaps, and behind-the-scenes planning—valuable work, but not the kind of content suited to a public blog.

So, why return now?

Because I’ve missed it.

I love the process of learning something new, distilling that knowledge, and sharing it with others. Writing here has always helped me reflect, grow, and connect with a wider community. So now, I’m aiming to get back in the saddle and start contributing again—hopefully more consistently this time.

Housekeeping

So, things are a little dusty round here. Stuff hasn’t been updated, and it’s broken. I’m working on fixing that, and also things like cross-posting to LinkedIn, which seems to be the platform of choice for sharing these days. Bear with…
